RST INEOS Pipework Decomissioning

Challenge

To safely decommission the redundant firefighting pipework as part of a specific site upgrade, with no impact and minimal disturbance to the busy tanker loading terminal.

The firefighting pipework was on all of the main live distribution overhead gantries including the sprinkler systems in each loading area.

This work had to be carried out when the site was live and operational.
